This is our Electronic boost control solenoid upgrade kit for 2015+ Mustangs with the 2.3l Ecoboost engine.


This kit will require a custom tune to run. 


DO NOT INSTALL THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR BASE MAP FROM YOUR TUNER. 

DO NOT DRIVE OR OPERATE YOUR VEHICLE WITHOUT A PROPER MAP.


Our kit features -

  • Vehicle specific mounting bracket.
  • Genuine MAC Solenoid.
  • Oem compatible plug and play electrical plug.
  • Ultra secure brass barbed fittings.  (Includes brass vent for applications without return hose)
  • 6 feet of Reinforced 50psi rated hose.
  • 6 seamless hose clamps.
  • No cutting splicing of factory equipment or permanent modifications needed.

Benefits:  Better, more precise boost control for big turbo setups.  More reliability by eliminating the oem plastic solenoid and oem plastic hoses.

To install :

Unplug the electrical connector and remove the hoses from the turbo and wastegate. 

Make sure fittings are tightly installed into the new solenoid.

Remove the 2 nuts that hold the oem boost solenoid to the oem stamped steel bracket and attach out bracket using the factory nuts.

Attach the electrical connector and plumb the solenoid hose connections per the diagram in the photos .
(Port #1 to return on compressor inlet, Or vent to air with vent fitting, Port #2 goes to wastegate, Port#3 goes to boost reference on the compressor housing of the turbo{closest to charge pipe coupler})

Make sure to route hoses to avoid contact with belts, pullies, fans and any other moving parts. 

Secure hose ends with provided clamps.

For turbo upgrades without a return port, you can run with the included vented filter on port #1 of the solenoid instead.
(Since these are Map / Speed density based cars there is no downside to venting the solenoid)


Failure to properly install or tune for this modification can and will result in engine damage, or worse.  Adapted Performance assumes no liability for any outcome related to the installation, tuning or use of this kit.
